Samme dag som billettene ble lagt ut for salg kom henvendelse fra Dean Davis som lurte på hvilke billetter han måtte kjøpe for å kunne se The Men They Couldn't´Hang. Etter litt kommunikasjon kjøpte de likså godt 2 festivalpass og 2 billetter til Bluesfrokost.
Jeg ga jo uttrykk for at jeg syntes det var fantastisk at de ville komme til "avkroken Odda" for å se på favorittband spille i knappe 1,5 time. Nedenfor ser du hva Dean har skrevet om seg selv og fruen Debbie.

On the same day that the tickets went on sale, an inquiry came from Dean Davis who wondered which tickets he had to buy in order to see The Men They Couldn't´Hang. After some communication, they bought 2 festival passes and 2 tickets to the Blues breakfast.
After all, I expressed that I thought it was fantastic that they would come to Odda to watch their favorite band play. Below you will see what Dean has written about himself and his wife Debbie.

We live near Christchurch in Dorset on the south coast.
I have been a fan of TMTCH since around 1986 - their music has been a huge part of my life. So have been to many, many gigs!! Although this is the first over seas trip to do one and we are really looking forward to it. Over the years we have got to know the band and I have been very fortunate enough to be involved in some of the recent recordings both from the band and Swills solo work and Paul and Naomi’s music as well.
They came to our house last year for an incredible house gig as part of our silver wedding anniversary.
Why TMTCH? Well their music is uplifting, thought provoking, inspiring….wonderful and they are incredible as a live band. Added to that they are lovely people who always have had time for their fans - it’s a real community of shared experiences following them and we have made some great friendships with fellow fans along the way.
If you don’t know them come and see them - you won’t regret it.

Vi bor i nærheten av Christchurch i Dorset på sørkysten.
Jeg har vært fan av TMTCH siden rundt 1986 - musikken deres har vært en stor del av livet mitt. Så vi har vært på mange, mange konserter!! Selv om dette er den første over havet tur, og vi ser virkelig frem til det. Gjennom årene har vi blitt kjent med bandet, og jeg har vært veldig heldig nok til å være involvert i noen av de siste innspillingene både fra bandet og Swills soloarbeid og Paul og Naomis musikk også.
De kom hjem til oss i fjor for en utrolig house-konsert som en del av sølvbryllupsdagen vår.
Hvorfor TMTCH? Vel, musikken deres er oppløftende, tankevekkende, inspirerende...fantastisk og de er utrolige som liveband. I tillegg er de herlige mennesker som alltid har hatt tid til fansen deres - det er et ekte fellesskap av felles opplevelser som følger dem, og vi har fått noen gode vennskap med andre fans underveis.
